The Brewery Guesthouse is no ordinary accommodation venue, in no ordinary country town. Experience rural history in contemporary comfort in the 4-bedroom Brewery Guesthouse. The Brewery Guesthouse stands a few minutes’ walk from the Melrose main street and is surrounded by character laden, heritage listed buildings that, over the last four years have been lovingly restored. The Brewery’s original bottling shed (1895 to 1934) and then a shearing shed (1935 – 2018) has been transformed into modern and stylish boutique accommodation.
The key elements of the building have been painstakingly conserved, such as the stone masonry and original timber trusses, the galvanized iron, flooring and sheep chutes and wool table. The accommodation facilities of Jacka Brothers Brewery will provide a distinctive twenty-first century pizzazz and a unique historical experience. The four guest bedrooms, each with an ensuite, will be more than just a place to sleep. They will have a sense of tranquillity created by light, texture and soft colours.

Located in the mid-north of South Australia, we’re only 3 hours north of Adelaide. Situated on the southernmost tip of the ancient Flinders Ranges and five beautiful minutes stroll to Mount Remarkable National Park. Melrose is the oldest regional town in South Australia, adorned with beautiful, rustic stone buildings, quiet country roads and a unique character all of its own. Walking trails, tennis courts, café’s, country pubs and some of the best mountain biking and bush walking in the state all there to enjoy and just minutes away.
