Set beside Reillys vineyard, the 1880 stables have returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Stables by the Vines is a special location for two. The single bedroom, that once was the original horse stable, has a comfortable Queen-sized bed that looks out beyond the French doors, through the orderly rows of Reillys cabernet sauvignon vines and onto the ancient gum trees aligning a nearby creek.
The central room is the original tack room and you are able to open the stable half-door whilst sitting at a small dining table to be further captivated by the vineyard view. You have the comfort of a lounge to rest up in while you read, listen to music or watch television. Wifi is available. An ambient electric fireplace will add further warmth to the reverse cycle air conditioner in winter.
Beyond the tack room there is a fully furbished kitchenette, including crockery/utensils, microwave oven, refrigerator, toaster and tea and coffee making facilities. You will receive a welcome hamper that contains cereals, bread, jams, tea, coffee and milk. Whilst we recommend eating at any of the local hotels and wineries, we nevertheless suggest you pop into a shop prior to arrival for any supplementary supplies for use in the Stables.
Beside the kitchenette you will find a small but comfortable bathroom, with shower. A hair drier is included.
