Conditions of Use

Check in is after 2pm and checkout by 10am the day of departure. A bond of $250 is payable and will be refunded at the end of your stay. No smoking indoors. No parties.

Pets are welcome at this property however it is the responsibility of the pet owner to clean up after their pet and to ensure their pets do not disturb the native fauna. It should be noted that the fencing to this property has not yet been fully replaced so pets must either be locked in the aviary or in the control of the owner.

A number of water craft activities are available for visitors to Coalmines Escape.  These facilities are provided for your enjoyment however if used, are used strictly at your own risk. In particular if using the paddle boards or boogie boards you need to be entirely confident of the user’s ability on the water and be aware that wind and wave action, which can change suddenly, can take the user quickly into danger. Appropriate life jackets must be worn – note that this is required by Tasmanian legislation. Children should not use these items unless a competent adult is within arms-reach. The skimmer boards, which are used in shallow water, often lead to the user losing balance and falling over with consequent risk of injury.  You should check any of these items for defects (including cracks, leaks and the like) before use.
