Redwing is a working farm, situated on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula, only a ten minute drive from all the activities on The Copper Coast. Redwing was settled in the 1860’s and the property was named after a ship which sunk off the coast of Yorke Peninsula. The ships’ life was over, however the property of Redwing was just beginning!
Extensive renovations over the last seven years have seen the homestead, gorgeous cottage and 1950's Barn restored to their former glory.
Guests at Redwing can stroll the property, feed the many friendly farm animals & learn about modern day farm life.
Redwing Shearers Quarters - a two-bedroom cottage which has been fully renovated to ooze character. The modern conveniences include flat screen TV/DVD, two person spa, reverse-cycle air conditioning, combustion fireplace, laundry and BBQ. The first bedroom is a queen size, while the second can be either 2 singles or a king bed. There is a single foldout bed available for hire and also a portacot.
Redwing Barn, with its 2 bedrooms, open plan living, full kitchen, combustion heater and large decking area, has been an immediate hit with families and couples alike!
Both properties also have 2 person spas, BBQs, stocked pantries and coffee machines!
So whether its to enjoy the country experience of Redwing, have a quiet break, or to use as a base for experiencing all the YP has to offer, you simply cant go past Redwing!
